Retrofit funding — Tricity Labs Verity

Retrofit funding.
Verity fits in.

Smart heating controls and environmental monitoring are eligible measures under the major retrofit funding schemes across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. Select your geography below to see what’s available and how Verity qualifies.

How Verity fits funding schemes

One platform.
Four funding routes.

Verity qualifies under the major social housing retrofit schemes in each of the four nations — typically as a smart heating control, an environmental monitoring technology, or both. In each case it also generates the independent M&V evidence those schemes increasingly require at audit. Select your region for the detail.

England — Warm Homes funding
🏴 England

Warm Homes Plan & SHF

Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund, ECO4 (to December 2026), and the Warm Homes: Local Grant. Smart heating controls are explicitly eligible — 8% of all WH:SHF installations. Awaab’s Law Phase 2 (November 2026) adds mandatory environmental monitoring.

Scotland — Social Housing Net Zero Heat Fund
🏴️ Scotland

Social Housing Net Zero Heat Fund

£200M SHNZHF supporting clean heating and energy efficiency. Smart controls central to funded heat pump projects. Continuous monitoring of heat pump performance aligns with Scotland’s Heat in Buildings Strategy evidence requirements.

Wales — Optimised Retrofit Programme
🏴️ Wales

Optimised Retrofit Programme

£98.75M confirmed for 2026/27. Environmental monitoring is mandatory under ORP — not optional. Verity qualifies as both a smart heating control and an environmental monitoring measure. The strongest funding case of all four nations.

Ireland — SEAI funding
🏴 Ireland

SEAI & DHLGH Programmes

€558M National Residential Retrofit Plan 2026. AHB grant support increased — combined SEAI and EEOS funding can exceed 90% of project costs. Heat pump grant up to €12,500. Heating controls eligible. AHBRA welfare monitoring as an additional driver.

What all four have in common

Every scheme requires
evidence, not estimates.

Across all four nations, retrofit funding is increasingly awarded and audited on real performance evidence — per-home data that demonstrates what the investment actually achieved. Modelled EPC improvements no longer satisfy what funders, auditors, and regulators are asking for.

Verity provides that evidence layer independently — continuous, measured, dated, and neutral. No retrofit delivery interest. No stake in the outcome. The evidence is defensible precisely because Verity has nothing to gain from it.

✅ Smart heating controls and environmental monitoring are eligible measures in every major retrofit scheme listed here. Verity can be funded as part of your programme — not procured as a separate cost on top of it.

Smart heating controls

Explicitly eligible under WH:SHF, ECO4, ORP, and SEAI schemes.

Environmental monitoring

Mandatory under ORP (Wales). Required for Awaab’s Law Phase 2 (England, November 2026). Increasingly expected under SHNZHF and SEAI.

Independent M&V evidence

Required for BS 40101 BPE and increasingly expected at funder audit across all four nations.
